We're looking for a VP of People to oversee the people team function across the US, UK and Australia. This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping the foundation of our people strategy during a time of significant growth. Yotpo has big plans for 2021 and beyond! 

As the Yotpo VP of People, you’ll act as a strategic business partner and talent advisor, creating and executing people-related programs across various sites. A successful VP in this role is a collaborative, strategic executive, who brings the experience of leading within high-growth, rapidly changing organizations, and does not hesitate to balance between strategy and spending time in the finer details. You’ll proactively identify new opportunities, lead the global DEI strategy to build an inclusive culture, implement effective change management and drive business results.

The VP of People will partner with senior leaders to shape HR best practices and promote employee experience aimed to attract, develop and retain top talent for the organization. You’ll lead a team that advocates for our employees’ needs, enables capabilities and aligns initiatives with our business strategies.

This is a full-time position located in our New York office, reporting to the SVP of People.

You will:

  • Identify and deploy impactful people strategies and programs that enable the US, UK and AU teams to scale effectively during a period of hyper-growth.
  • Hire, coach and develop a high performing People team across multiple disciplines.
  • Design and implement various day-to-day initiatives across the talent lifecycle including building high performing teams, onboarding, employee engagement, performance management, career development, recognition across all levels.
  • Build programs designed to enhance and reinforce employee engagement and productivity and recognize employees for their contributions to the company’s success.
  • Lead, develop and execute a global DEI strategy; serve as an advocate, coach, and facilitator for building a diverse and inclusive teams.
  • Collaborate closely with SVP of People and global People leadership partners including Comp & Ben and Talent Acquisition to prioritize business needs, uncover opportunities for improvement and create site alignment.
  • Drive the implementation of organizational change management.
  • Ensure policies and practices comply with all applicable local and federal laws, and when necessary investigate and direct responses to workplace complaints.
  • Utilize data-driven approaches to apply and create best practice solutions.

About you:

  • 10+ years of Human Resources experience leading People strategies in high-growth SaaS/tech environments.
  • Success leading and developing high performing HRBP and PX teams.
  • Demonstrated experience leading strategic global DEI initiatives. 
  • Experience partnering with global distributed teams, including go-to-market departments (Sales, Client Success, Marketing, etc.)
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of core organizational goals
  • Comfort with high ambiguity and ability to adapt to frequent change and growth
  • Demonstrated success in managing multiple stakeholders, influence and resolve conflict
  • Proficient knowledge of federal and state employment laws in multiple states:
  • Working knowledge of HRIS and ATS systems (we use bob and Greenhouse).

Bonus points for: 

  • Experience in scaling tech and/or eComm startups 
  • SHRM-SCP, HRCI certification or equivalent
