Manager Strategic Initiatives   

GLG is seeking a highly motivated Manager to support the Director of Strategic Initiatives in advancing high-priority strategic and transformation efforts. This individual will contribute to cross-functional initiatives that drive value creation, shape GLG’s future growth, and help maintain our position as the world’s leading expert insight platform. The position is well-suited for someone looking for on-the-ground experience implementing value creation work, with an emphasis on the role of AI in driving sustainable valueThe ideal candidate is a structured thinker, analytical problem solver, and proactive team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment. 

 

Key Responsibilities: 

Project Support & Execution 

  • Support the planning, execution, and monitoring of strategic initiatives and transformation projects, with a focus on AI efforts 
  • Prepare project plans, status trackers, and stakeholder updates. 
  • Assist in identifying and resolving project roadblocks. 

Financial & Strategic Analysis 

  • Conduct research and analysis on internal data, industry trends, role of AI in market insights space, and competitive landscapes. 
  • Develop models, dashboards, and reports to inform strategic decisions. 
  • Translate findings into actionable insights and recommendations. 
     

Presentation Development 

  • Create high-quality materials for senior leadership, including executive updates, board presentations, and planning documents. 
  • Help synthesize complex information into clear, compelling narratives. 

Collaboration & Communication 

  • Partner with stakeholders across business units to gather inputs, align objectives, and support implementation. 
  • Coordinate meetings, workshops, and follow-ups to ensure project momentum. 

Business Development & Market Research 

  • Assist in commercial due diligence efforts for potential M&A opportunities, including market sizing, growth assessments, and competitor profiling. 
  • Help evaluate strategic options and partner/build/buy opportunities. 

 

Qualifications 

  • 3-6 years of experience in investment banking (preferred), consulting, corporate strategy, or business operations. 
  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills. 
  • Exceptional communication and PowerPoint presentation capabilities. 
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. 
  • Proactive, collaborative, and eager to learn in a dynamic environment.

Compensation: GLG is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. Actual compensation is based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. Certain roles may also be eligible for incentive compensation.

The anticipated hiring base salary range for this role is:
$111,000$165,000 USD
