The opportunity
We’re looking for a versatile and strategic Product Manager to join our Marketplace & Commerce team. In this role, you won't be tethered to a single feature. Instead, you will work across multiple workstreams, serving as the connective tissue between our marketing, web, commerce, and individual product layers. Your mission is to understand and optimize the entire user journey—learning how our users move from the top of the funnel (initial discovery) to ongoing, deep usage within our products.

Currently, there is a gap between these organizational layers, and we are looking for a PM who can establish a unified vision where none yet exists. You will lead high-impact work, uncovering hidden opportunities and running with them to drive outcomes that directly influence Unity’s growth and user retention. This is a critical role that will provide product guidance across diverse realms, from supporting Agentic Commerce and expanding asset usage across our ecosystem to defining AI as a driver for Go-To-Market strategy.

What you'll be doing

  • Own the Funnel: Map and analyze the end-to-end user journey, from marketing touchpoints to the web/commerce layer and into long-term product retention.
  • Unify Strategy: Bridge the gaps between marketing, web teams, commerce platforms, and product groups to create a cohesive experience for our users.
  • Support Strategic Projects: Provide product leadership on ongoing initiatives, including Magenta commerce, the expansion of our user groups, and broader asset distribution across the Unity ecosystem.
  • Uncover Opportunity: Proactively identify untapped areas of growth and retention, build the business case, and lead the cross-functional execution.
  • Collaborate & Influence: Work directly with engineers, data scientists, and marketing stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions that meet evolving business needs.

What we're looking for

  • Proven PM Experience: Solid background in product management, with a track record of handling complex, cross-functional projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Full-Funnel Mindset: Experience analyzing user lifecycles, from acquisition and commerce to retention and churn.
  • Ambiguity Navigator: A self-starter who excels at bringing structure to "unclaimed" spaces and can drive progress without a pre-defined roadmap.
  • Data Fluency: Ability to interpret funnel metrics, form hypotheses, and make data-driven decisions to optimize user journeys.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Success in aligning stakeholders across diverse teams (Marketing, Sales, Engineering) toward a single unified goal.
  • Commerce/Marketplace Familiarity: Experience with commerce systems (e.g., Magenta) or marketplace dynamics is a significant plus.

You might also have

  • Experience in growth product management or lifecycle marketing.
  • Knowledge of AI/ML applications in search, recommendations, or GTM strategies.
  • Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
