We are looking for an established Sales Leader to drive our customer retention and bookings growth targets with our upbeat team. This person will be responsible for improving growth revenue in our commercial business, by; building territory plans, account plans, and productivity plans, to lead a team of 5-8 sellers to attain team and rep quota. You will need to lead from the front, selling alongside your sellers and helping them get access to our customer’s executives, to identify their high impact problems, and promote a solution that will help them drive revenue for their business. The ideal candidate will have a track record of managing, up-leveling, and inspiring a robust sales team that source and generate qualified pipeline while building long term customer relationships.


Responsibilites

  • Sourcing, hiring and ramping high performing sellers
  • Leading a sales team to achieve renewal and growth bookings targets for existing customers. This includes setting strategic sales leadership cadence, and driving recruiting, training, objective setting, coaching and performance management of sales reps
  • Building and leading the timely renewal cycles and upsell pipeline with constant focus on servicing customers, accelerating sales cycles and meeting targets
  • In collaboration with other stakeholders, design and implement a strategic customer plan that increases growth revenue and long term adoption of our platform from Bluecore’s existing customers
  • Build and promote strong, long lasting customer relationships through understanding their needs and partnering with them to implement and adopt the Bluecore solution
  • Driving accurate and principled sales hygiene…including holding the sales team accountable to an accurate and reliable monthly and quarterly bookings forecast
  • Market awareness of the retail ecommerce industry and competitors to position Bluecore as the leading retail marketing platform in the industry


Qualifications

  • A minimum of 10 years sales experience as an individual contributor with a track record of success in software sales.
  • At least 3-5 years experience leading a high performing sales team that had a track record of exceeding sales targets
  • Focus on existing customer retention, development and growth across customer segments.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of customer partners as well as internally
  • Proven track record to drive the sales process from plan to close, and effectively mentor sales teams through that process
  • Strong eye for business and industry expertise
  • Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills that inspire top performance
  • Ability to work remotely and inspire remote sellers to achieve ambitious goals
  • Experience recruiting and developing top performing sellers
  • Experience in a proven a repeatable sales process or methodology
  • Track record of running a scalable qualification and forecasting system, and holding your reps accountable to the same program
  • Ability to travel up to 40%
