ABOUT THE ROLE: 

Resy is seeking a Manager, Business Development. This person will report into our CFO and will partner with senior leadership to identify and assess broad strategic opportunities for Resy’s business. They will also identify, negotiate, structure and manage strategic projects, partnerships, and acquisitions. Through these efforts, he or she will accelerate momentum within current lines of business and expand Resy’s into new areas of opportunity. 

WHAT YOU'LL DO: 

  • Lead cross functional projects at the request of the CFO; identify strategic opportunities for growth, product expansion and create actionable plans to drive revenue across business units
  • Communicate with Senior Leadership and partner with Business Units cross functionally to assess, prioritize and execute transactions to best align with business strategy and growth plans
  • Perform detailed financial analysis; develop comprehensive pro forma financial models and valuation analysis in support of strategic opportunities or potential transactions
  • Project manage the deal execution process, including the negotiation of relevant legal and business issues, from inception through due diligence, closing/execution and through to integration

WHO YOU ARE: 

  • You have 2+ years experience in a similar role at a similar environment, preferably in an environment such as Corporate Development or FP&A function, Management Consulting, Venture Capital or private equity firm..
  • You possess advanced analytical, creative problem solving and modeling skills with the ability to synthesize data and present rigorous analysis and insights with simplicity, clarity, and confidence:
  • You have advanced skills in financial modeling, data analysis and business case presentation.
  • You have strong self-initiative – ability to deal with high degree of ambiguity and drive clarity in key areas.
  • You are able to work independently, prioritize and handle multiple assignments.
  • You have strong deal execution and project management experience (financial due diligence, agreement negotiation, and integration planning, managing constituents and deal related processes.
  • You are detail oriented with a desire to understand the operating environment to enable actions to improve the business prospectively.
  • You have outstanding verbal and written communication skills; high EQ; experience working with C level executives and on cross functional projects with multiple stakeholders resulting in successfully achieving objectives.
  • You have strong financial / business judgment and acumen.
  • You love restaurants
