Job Description
We are looking for an energetic professional interested in helping our business grow through value-based conversations and remarkable customer experience to join our retention team. As a renewals advisor, you will be responsible for ensuring our brokers have a great experience through the renewals process. You'll also play a crucial role in shaping our retention strategy by synthesizing customer feedback and providing recommendations to the broader organization.
Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute daily retention activities, calling brokers on high retention risk policies and walking them through the benefits of staying with Attune
  • Counsel prospects and policyholders on coverage, limits, and help assess their goals and needs in a timely manner
  • Update policy information as needed
  • Utilize active listening and critical thinking skills to quickly analyze and clearly understand a specific request or customer need
  • Work with brokers to renew policies and retain business
  • Deliver consistent and timely responses, follow-through, and follow-up in response to client requests and issues
  • Manage growing accounts, proposing additional products and coverages for consideration
  • Ensure clients are comfortable with and able to utilize the tools/services available through Attune platform
  • Lead service recovery discussions with clients in response to complaints or escalations, ensuring those clients leave the conversation as promoters of Attune
  • Gather and organize broker feedback, and partner with the management team to inform retention strategies


About you:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3+ years of underwriting
  • Proven track record of delivering a great customer experience, ideally on a renewals or retention team
  • Knowledge of Commercial P&C coverage lines
  • Strong communication and conflict-resolution skills
  • High empathy and patience
  • Dependable, positive and detail-oriented with excellent follow-through
  • Able to deal well with ambiguity and maintain composure in complex situations
  • CPCU designation, Active/Current Property and Casualty License OR a willingness to obtain your P&C license
