The Sales Team:

The Sales team at JW Player plays a big part in the continued success of the business. The team pairs their strong communication skills with their exceptional prospecting skills to identity opportunities to generate pipeline! 

The Opportunity:

We are looking for an Outbound Sales Development Representative to join our expanding team on the East Coast of the US! SDRs at JW Player play a critical role in generating qualified leads for our sales teams. Equipped with the necessary tools, SDRs act as the first point of contact, nurturing prospects over time, building rapport that will result in a sales-ready lead, and ultimately connecting prospects with our enterprise sales team. As a Sales Development Representative, you will:

  • Hunt for new business by researching and creating targeted lists
  • Develop ideal customer profiles to improve outbound prospecting efforts
  • Craft new methods for attracting outside business
  • Use defined metrics to maximize prospective clients for sales (through emails, calls, setting up meetings, etc.)

Requirements for the role:

  • BA/BS degree
  • 1-2 years previous work experience in one or more of the following departments:
    • Business Development, Sales, Marketing, Lead Generation
  • Ability to build rapport with potential customers, understand their environment, and introduce new concepts to solve problems
  • Strong phone, prospecting, sales, customer service, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload to maximize efficiency
  • Experience with Salesforce.com preferred
