About the role

FireHydrant is excited to be hiring a Sales Operations Manager to support our growing Sales team. The person in this role is responsible for developing and executing a sales operations strategy that enhances the overall productivity and effectiveness of the Sales team, while working closely with other areas of the business to ensure that company revenue and retention targets are met or exceeded. This role will require an individual with a focus on data and analytics, curiosity, demonstrated leadership, and an innovative approach. As the sole Sales Operations team member, the person in this role will collaborate closely with Sales leadership, Sales individual contributors, as well as Marketing and Product leadership.

The work you’ll do

  • Support strategic planning and operating procedures within the Sales team
    • Partner with Sales and Finance leadership on annual planning, capacity planning, quotas, budgeting, forecasting, compensation models/plans, SPIFFs, etc.
    • Partner with Sales leadership on territory planning, market segmentation, account distribution, coverage models, etc.
    • Execute and enforce a sales operational cadence and assist in analysis of sales processes (including calls, meetings, cycle times, etc.) 
  • Monitor sales performance and partner with Sales leaders to deliver objectives
    • Continuously review and analyze sales performance and surface leading indicators/insights of performance health
    • Develop creative solutions to sales blockers or inefficiencies
    • Partner with Sales leadership to improve operational performance and efficiency
    • Create and maintain Sales dashboards to consistently track and highlight KPIs and other key indicators critical to sales performance tracking
  • Create innovative initiatives that drive improvements within the Sales organization
    • Create and implement strategies that emphasize growth in accordance with our company revenue and efficiency goals
    • Partner with Marketing to emphasize and lead projects that increase demand generation, conversion rates, and track funnel metrics
    • Partner with Product to drive PQLs, provide product enablement, and ensure Sales and Product are tightly aligned

What we’re looking for

  • Progressive hands-on experience in a Sales organization at a fast growing company (3+ years experience ideal)
  • An understanding of of core SaaS B2B growth and efficiency business metrics
  • Experience and demonstrated excellence in partnering inter- and cross-departmentally with Go to Market teams
  • Experience using and analyzing data to make informed decisions about sales and business performance and strategies
  • Works autonomously to develop and execute a clear strategy and roadmap for Sales Operations with feedback from leadership
  • Takes and provides actionable feedback and is a team oriented performer
  • Must be highly proficient in Salesforce, Google Workplace, Excel/Google Sheets, and technically savvy for other key sales applications

Compensation

FireHydrant believes that everyone should be compensated fairly and we strive for transparency within our organization and the industry. We set our salaries at the 75th percentile of pay for the San Francisco market using compensation data from hundreds of companies at our stage. Additionally, everyone in a given role is paid the same without adjusting for locality. The salary for this position is a base of $175,000 with eligibility for performance based variable compensation.
