Technical Enablement Lead - Technical Development Rep

Joining Collibra’s Sales & Customer Success Enablement team, the Technical Enablement Lead will be key to the success, growth and scale of the Collibra Technical organization - Systems Engineers, Architects, Professional Services and Customer Support. Our position in the Data Intelligence industry, where we help enterprise customers transform how they find and use data, and power digital transformation, requires a high value Technical organization which embraces the customer journey, delivers outcomes quickly, drives technical discovery to troubleshooting,  and works collaboratively to solve customer needs. 

The Technical Enablement Lead will drive onboarding, technical skill development and certification, and on-going role-based development to improve time to value for our customers and time to productivity for Collibra.  These programs include building technical enablement learning paths, certification programs, and include content development and design oversight that will benefit the broader organization (i.e. Sales). The ideal candidate will have a good mix of deep technical knowledge and business acumen, optimally in the Data Intelligence market place.

The Technical Enablement Lead at Collibra is responsible to:

  • Work with a broad set of highly technical stakeholders, including technical sales management, professional services,  customer success, leadership, product management, and product marketing, to develop requirements for, prioritize, launch and measure enablement curriculum in alignment with Collibra’s growth and strategic priorities. 

You Have:

  • Technical expertise, either through a role in systems engineering, professional services or technical training in a software, preferably SaaS, and data industry
  • The ability to perform detailed needs assessments in coordination with the Technical Sales and Customer Success leadership.
  • The talent to translate and organize current and future behavior, skills and knowledge needs into a global technical enablement plan.
  • Passion to collaborate with the broader enablement and cross functional teams to develop learning paths, using instructional design | adult learning best practices and principles.
  • An understanding of how to champion consumption of training, and measure impact to continuously evaluate knowledge transfer and learning needs.
  • Familiarity with Technical Enablement, Technical training, and on-boarding programs
  • Experience designing, building and/or delivering technical training programs throughout the sales process/buyer journey. 
  • An analytical and programmatic thought process to understand business challenges, recommend enablement solutions and evaluat outcomes of those trained against productivity, and customer satisfaction measures
  • A growth mindset that is transferable to your enablement approach

Reporting to Collibra’s VP of Sales & Customer Success Enablement, measures of success are:

  • Within your first month, you will assess Technical needs, skills and gaps
  • Within your third month, you will refine and help facilitate onboarding for the Technical teams - globally
  • Within your sixth month, measure success by evaluating the overall business impact of training and enablement, time to productivity and cross-functional collaboration.
