Interested in working on cutting-edge blockchain technology and creating equitable access to the global financial system? Since 2014, the mission-driven team at the Stellar Development Foundation (SDF) has helped fuel the tremendous growth of the Stellar blockchain network, an open-source platform that operates at high-scale today. Developers and companies around the world build on it, and the SDF team is expanding to support the rapidly growing and changing Stellar ecosystem.

As Senior Content Marketing Manager, Institutional, you'll be SDF's institutional voice: the storyteller, educator, and persuader behind the content that influences banks, asset managers, and payment companies to build on Stellar. Most blockchains were built to route around regulated finance. Stellar was built to run it, and institutions are now testing that claim in production. You'll own the institutional content program, from case studies and solution briefs to recurring briefings and ABM content tracks, working alongside BD and Growth leaders, Product Marketing, Digital Strategy, and agency partners to move institutions from evaluation to decision.

In this role, you will:

  • Become the institutional voice behind the blockchain for regulated finance. Tell the story of finance moving onchain through case studies, primers, one-pagers, and web experiences that win over the full buying committee at issuers, asset managers, banks, and payment providers, from heads of digital assets and CFOs to risk, compliance, legal, and operations teams. Each asset maps to a buyer, a stage, and a specific solution like issuance, movement, or capital deployment.

  • Reduce friction at the middle and bottom of the funnel. Your enablement content moves institutions from evaluation to decision. Turn active deals and signed partners into case studies, account-specific collateral, objection handling, and follow-up material, and make sure every priority buyer, deal stage, and solution has the content it needs.

  • Be the keeper of the institutional narrative. Partner with Product Marketing, Social, Digital Strategy, and our agency partners so a single idea ships across every channel: a long-form piece, a newsletter, a LinkedIn post, a web page, and a short video cut.

  • Design and own full content motions. Build recurring programs, such as a briefing for institutional decision-makers or an ABM content track, from concept through distribution and measurement.

  • Support executive thought leadership. Produce the assets that extend SDF leadership's thought leadership: research and data for essays, charts and exhibits, and derivative cuts for newsletters, web, and social.

  • Fuel event-driven outreach. Build the invitation copy, outbound sequences, pre-event briefs, and account-specific one-pagers that bring the right partners and prospects to Meridian and institutional roundtables, then the follow-up material that keeps those conversations moving.

You have:

  • 7–10 years in content marketing, editorial, or research writing, with at least 3 years writing for institutional or enterprise B2B buyers in financial services, fintech, payments, or digital assets.

  • A portfolio of institutional-grade work: white papers, case studies, and explainers that an analyst or VP would pull into a recommendation for their CFO or head of digital assets.

  • Working fluency in tokenization, stablecoins, custody, settlement, and cross-border payments. You can explain what an anchor, a trustline, or a clawback does without reaching for jargon.

  • Experience partnering with BD, sales, or demand gen on ABM, nurture, and account growth.

  • A research instinct for proof. You find the evidence institutions trust, such as analyst research, industry benchmarks, and customer results, and build the story on it.

  • A habit of measuring what your content moves. You track BD usage and target-account engagement, and use what you learn to decide what to make next.

  • A strategist's view of distribution. You plan where each asset runs across paid, organic, owned, and partner channels before it's written, and work with our Digital Strategy team on paid execution.

  • Range across formats: long-form, newsletters, web copy, social, and briefs for designers and video producers.

  • Exceptional writing and editing. Your prose is declarative, specific, and proof-forward, with no hype.

  • Sound judgment on claims. You know the difference between what a technology enables and what a regulated institution is responsible for, and you write accordingly.

  • The ability to run many projects with many reviewers (product SMEs, legal, executives, and external partners) without losing quality or deadlines.

Bonus Points if:

  • You have written for or worked at a bank, asset manager, custodian, market infrastructure provider, or payments company.

  • You understand how institutions evaluate public blockchains, including multi-chain strategies.

  • You have worked with AI-assisted content workflows and know where they help and where an editor still has to decide.

  • You have built content programs that show up in AI search answers, not only in Google results.
