Zola is seeking a strategic, analytical and motivated Chief of Staff to handle a wide array of business tasks alongside our CEOs and leadership team. This is a highly critical and visible role that will report to one of our Co-CEOs and use strong leadership and problem-solving skills to drive productivity and alignment across the organization. Key Responsibilities

  • Act as strategic advisor and right-hand person to senior leadership team
  • Collaborate with leadership team members to determine and prioritize business strategies, ensuring time and energy are focused on the highest impact priorities
  • Spearhead special projects or initiatives which bring together multiple stakeholders to help drive decisions
  • Build decision-making frameworks to ensure cross collaboration and alignment
  • Facilitate communication and information flow within the organization, acting as liaison between departments and stakeholders
  • Identify and address operational inefficiencies, streamlining processes and improving team productivity
  • Oversee CEOs calendar, help prepare materials for meetings and ensure meetings are well run and productive

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience (or MBA) in an analytical role in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment. Consulting and/or strategy experience strongly preferred
  • Highly strategic thinker with unquestionable integrity and curiosity in solving complex problems
  • Ability to lead efficient and productive strategic initiatives and special projects
  • Excellent storytelling and presentation skills. You know the importance of “details” and have the highest standard of excellence in verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to handle context switching, juggling multiple projects, and remain calm under pressure
  • Excels at building trusted cross-functional relationships
  • Highly adept at communicating and collaborating with executives and functional leaders
  • Thrives in unstructured high growth environments

The salary range for this role is $175,000 - $200,000. This full-time role will be hybrid at our office in NYC (Tuesdays & Thursdays).
