This is a hands-on contract role for someone who knows how to build excitement around a live cultural experience through smart, engaging social content and active community management. You’ll own the day-to-day social presence across Instagram, helping drive awareness and engagement while capturing the energy of the experience in real time.

The ideal candidate is a strong writer, culturally plugged in, comfortable creating content on the fly, and understands how to translate an established brand voice into social.

What You’ll Do

  • Write captions and short-form social copy in an established brand voice
  • Manage the community across comments and DMs, maintaining an active and responsive presence

  • Develop and execute interactive engagement mechanics, including sign-ups, polls, quizzes, countdowns, and other social-first moments
  • Capture short-form video content on-site at HERO once the experience opens, including in-platform editing and publishing
  • Support influencer and creator outreach as needed
  • Participate in on-camera content when appropriate and comfortable; on-camera appearances are not required
  • Help identify timely, reactive content opportunities throughout the campaign and live experience
What We’re Looking For
  • Experience managing social media and online communities for brands, entertainment, hospitality, experiential, or culturally relevant projects
  • Strong copywriting skills and the ability to quickly adapt to an established brand voice
  • Fluency in Instagram, including Reels, Stories, community engagement, and native editing tools
  • A strong understanding of social trends, platform behavior, and what drives audience participation
  • Comfortable capturing and creating quality content in a fast-moving, live environment
  • Highly organized, responsive, and able to independently manage a consistent publishing cadence
  • Experience with influencer or creator outreach is a plus
Key Dates
  • Contract begins: September 8, 2026
  • On-site: September 14, 2026
  • Experience opens: November 14, 2026
  • Contract ends: January 22, 2027

Availability for on-site content capture during the live experience will be required.
