About Teleskope

Teleskope is redefining data security for the AI era. Our platform uses AI to learn the context of a business, filter out the noise, and enforce remediation directly, resolving sensitive data exposure in seconds.

We are backed by top-tier investors and growing quickly, with customers that include Ramp, Notion, The Atlantic, Petco, and Chevron Phillips.

About the role

This is one of the hardest, most important problems in security right now, as companies adopt AI faster than they can protect the data behind it. You'll own features end to end on the core of the platform, alongside a talented group of engineers with deep expertise in distributed systems, ML, and scale. Great security doesn't slow a company down, it makes moving fast safe. That's what you'll build.

What you'll do

  • Own customer-facing features end to end, from design decisions to daily use at companies like Polymarket and The Atlantic

  • Turn ambiguous problems into shipped features, and own how they get built

  • Debug live production systems and solve problems that only exist at petabyte scale

  • Take on the hardest problems in data security, from architecture to implementation

  • Raise the bar for the team through code review, design feedback, and mentoring engineers earlier in their careers

About you

  • 3+ years of professional software engineering experience

  • Strong back-end skills in Go, Python, or a comparable language

  • Solid background in databases, data modeling, and schema design

  • You take open-ended problems, drive them to clarity, and ship the solution to production

  • You use AI tools to move faster, and you want to get better at using them well

  • Frontend experience a plus

  • Must be based in NYC and able to work from our Financial District office 3 days a week

What you'll get

  • An opportunity to join an early stage startup in one of today's fastest growing markets

  • Room to learn, grow, and rapidly advance in your career as a software engineer

  • A beautiful, well-stocked office in NYC’s Financial District

  • Flexible vacation and work from home days

  • Competitive salary and meaningful equity

  • Health, vision, dental, 401k and more benefits, heavily subsidized by Teleskope
