Qualifications:
- 5-10 years of information compute experience as an engineer/architect. The ideal candidate will have combined experience as a compute practitioner, compute consultant
- 1-10 years experience with 3 or more of the following: VMware VCF v9, Dell Compute, HPE Compute, Windows Server platforms (Azure Local a plus), Linux OS platforms (OpenShift a plus), and an understanding of HCI and communication protocols.
- Extensive knowledge of current and upcoming information compute technologies and oeprations
- Extensive ability to perform concurrent tasks in complex environments and adjusting priorities
- Ability to communicate and modify approach, language, and style to different audiences
- Extensive experience in organizing resources, establishing priorities, and leading compute initiatives and projects
- Must have excellent communication skills, writing skills, and the ability to work with team members at all levels
- Compute and other certifications are preferred, but not required
Requirements:
- H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required
- Bachelor's Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) Information Technology preferred
- A minimum of 5 years' progressive experience in a related field required

Certain states and localities require employers to post a reasonable estimate of salary range. A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position is $124,000.00 to $156,000.00 annually. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including shift, location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ. Certain positions may also be eligible for variable incentive compensation, such as bonuses or commissions, that is not included in the base pay.

What is the ATC?
Our Advanced Technology Center (ATC) is like no other testing and research lab. We call it an ecosystem that is front ended by our WWT Platform (Website). It's the place engineers and architects go for exclusive resources, guidance and tools. In the ATC, we provide Labs, Learning Paths, Cyber Range, Proof of Concepts, Lab Hosting Programs, and WWT Research. These offerings are meant for our Customers, Partners, and Internal Employees who need training and education on the latest and greatest solutions across all technology domains.
What will you be doing?
This role will reside within the Compute BU of the ATC Lab Services team. This resource will be responsible for evaluating and developing new Compute technologies for the WWT Advanced Technology Center (ATC). This role will work with a wide range of technologies and will focus more depth in one or more focus areas of Information Technology. The ideal candidate will have foundational knowledge and expertise with Networking, Virtualization, and Compute as well as a broad level of understanding storage, cloud, S3, and communication protocols.
Responsibilities:
- Build and manage relationships with customers and partners, both internally and externally
- Design and Build environments and compute solutions for customer engagements for the purpose of Sandbox, Proofs of Concepts, and Lab-as-a-Service
- Create architectural diagrams, access guides, and other documents as needed for customer engagements and internal documentation
- Collaborate with customers, sales teams, and other internal teams to develop test plans, use cases, and high/low level designs
- Further develop and foster OEM partnerships and relationships that support WWT’s go-to-market strategy around compute solutions
- Support business development and marketing initiatives as needed
- Achieve industry standard certification requirements to maintain partner status
