NYU selected as home to NYC’s virtual/alternate reality hub
NYU's Tandon School of Engineering is now home to a virtual/alternate reality hub, funded by the Mayor's Office of Media and Entertainment and NYC's Economic Development Corporation. It will nurture companies that rely on AR/VR and help mark the city as a destination for the new technology. Investors: Juxtapose, RRE Ventures, Goodwater Capital, Tusk Ventures, Bullish
Vitamin and supplement company Care/of announced the completion of a $12 million Series A financing round. This brings their total funding to $15 million. Led by Goodwater Capital, the money will help continue the company’s growth. [Press release]
