Why settle for a boring job at a boring company in a boring city? New York City has some of the hottest and fastest-growing tech companies in the world, and they're hiring. Here are 7 companies looking for talented and ambitious individuals right now.

What they do: Namely runs a cloud-based management platform that lets organizations build teams, find and retain top performers and optimize business performance.

Best perks: Namely employees enjoy a flexible PTO policy, a stocked kitchen, good health benefits for employees and their families, and paid maternity and paternity leave.

What they do: CB Insights runs a tech market intelligence platform that analyzes millions of data points and predicts trends in technology. Crazy, right?

Best perks: CB Insights employees get a 401(K) with company matching, a yearly education stipend, a lunch stipend and commuter benefits. They also get to play with the company’s Xbox One, WII, Sonos speakers, 3D printer, drone and employees have been known to enjoy a game of Risk now and then.

What they do: Noom makes fitness programs that live on your smartphone. Their digital Weight Loss Coach tells users exactly what they should to every day to lose weight, and then grades their progress.

Best perks: Noom is a health-conscious company, and they want their employees to be healthy too. They offer everyone a wellness budget that can be used for a gym membership, fitness equipment and the like. They also have an in-house chef that cooks up healthy, gourmet meals every day.

What they do: Schoology builds technology tools that let educators personalize education and improve student outcomes. So far, over 14 million people use their technology around the world.

Best perks: Schoology offers an open paid time off policy, a kitchen stocked with food and snacks, and lots of happy hours and game nights. Plus, you’ll be working for a good cause.

What they do: Signpost is an online advertising service that helps local businesses find new customers. Their platform automatically tracks every email, call, credit card transaction and social media interaction between a business and their customers. They then use this data to send messages to new customers or to drive repeat business. The machines are learning. And apparently, they’re learning how to sell us stuff.

Best perks: Signpost employees have a pretty sweet deal. They have a kegerator — and it’s filled with beer, not iced coffee. As a team, they participate in intramural sports, enjoy an endlessly stocked snack room and come to work dressed casually. And for sales people, they have an uncapped commission structure and top performers are invited on an all expense paid island adventure.

What they do: Buzzfeed is like a machine that pumps out virality. If you’re reading this, you’re pretty much guaranteed to know exactly what Buzzfeed does.

Best perks: Buzzfeed employees get all the normal perks — but then they get some interesting ones as well. For example, their office has a Froyo machine and employees get to vote on the flavor every month. They also host some pretty amazing speakers for employees, which have included Jerry Seinfeld, Marco Rubio, Sir Patrick Stewart and Sir Ian McKellen in the past.

What they do: Eyeview makes technology that lets advertisers and agencies make and target personalized video ads.

Best perks: Eyeview employees get Friday lunches and a fully stocked kitchen with drinks and snacks. They also work in a transparent organization that updates employees about business status, projections and finances. We’ve also heard that Eyeview has a pretty sweet office near Madison Square Park.
