Our fledgling brand team is looking for a graphic designer to help push our product development and visual language into new, exciting territory. Technical skills (see below) are a prerequisite, but creative vision, communication, and a relentless drive to produce great work are absolutely essential. This role is focused on designing UX and information for new features (from an overall product strategy and roadmap) defined by the Product Manager. The UX designer must think in non-linear terms: capturing interactions, edge-cases, and the various states of these experiences through deliverables such as user flows, product maps, wireframes, storyboards, and prototypes. They should be comfortable with an agile approach to design, with an emphasis on user testing and rapid iteration.
Develop a relationship with trend forecasting resources to help Peloton strategically strengthen our product branding strategy.
Work with material vendors to develop both advanced material samples and standards for production.
Create an internal library system for organizing material samples based on future development, current product development and existing product .
Develop a master sample chip library that is unique to Peloton.
Create seasonal trend presentations for the design team, product and creative teams to keep the teams informed of up and coming market trends.
Analyze and approve colors, materials, and finishes at different stages of the development process.
Understand material trends and forecast innovative material used in a variety of Hard and Soft Goods applications across multiple industries including fitness, cycling, and consumer electronics.
