At Optimove, we believe people are capable of more than a single job description. You’re not hired just to fill a position- you’re empowered to shape it, grow it, and make it your own.
We call this being Positionless.
And Positionless isn’t just our culture. It’s our product.
Optimove is the creator of Positionless Marketing, an AI-powered platform that gives every marketer the power to analyze, create, launch, and optimize independently. The result is faster execution, deeper personalization, and 88% greater campaign efficiency.
Recognized as a Visionary in Gartner’s Magic Quadrant, we partner with leading brands like Sephora, Staples, and Entain. Today, more than 500 Optimovers across NYC, London, Tel Aviv, Scotland, Brazil, Estonia, and beyond are building the future of marketing together, in an environment that actively encourages ownership and growth, with two out of every three managers promoted from within.
If you’re looking for a place where you can do more, be more, come grow with us.

The Solutions Engineer fills an essential role at Optimove — part technical expert, part storyteller. You'll sit at the center of our North American sales cycles: tech calls, product demos, integration deep dives, and the creative problem solving that shows a prospect how the disparate pieces of the MarTech landscape can best work together. If you're naturally curious, love solving problems, and get excited about technology — this is the role where you'll grow fastest.

You don't need to have been a Solutions Engineer before. Maybe you're customer-facing today with technical capacity you don't get to use — implementation, onboarding project management, or a technically inclined CSM. Or maybe you're on the technical side — development, technical support, technical account management, customer engineering — and you're ready to bring that depth into client-facing work. If you have the technical foundation and the personality to sell with it, we'll teach you the craft: you'll be mentored by experienced Solutions Engineers and have real ownership from day one.

What you'll do

  • Partner with the Sales team as the product expert on new business cycles — answering technical questions, leading tech calls and integration discussions, and running product deep dives.

  • Present product demos to prospects that connect what our platform does to what each prospect actually needs — clear, compelling, and concise.

  • Master Optimove's products and technologies and become the go-to resource for technical questions across the sales cycle.

  • Support the completion of RFPs.

  • Understand our clients' technical and business needs, and be innovative in showing how the platform can be configured to meet them.

  • Use AI every day to work smarter — digging into prospects, building demo assets, sharpening the story — on a team that builds its own AI workflows and demos Optimove AI to prospects.

  • Work closely with Data and Integration teams to maintain a tight connection between the "Front Stage" and "Back Stage".

  • Support onboarding and ongoing education for the Sales team, especially as it relates to the product.

  • Continuously develop your MarTech expertise — we invest in your learning.

  • Attend conferences and prospect on-sites as needed.

Who you are

  • 2+ years of professional experience in a customer-facing technical role — Pre-Sales, Solutions Consulting, Technical Account Management, Technical Customer Success, Implementation, Professional Services, Technical Support — or a technical role with customer exposure. An SE title is not required.

  • Technical background through education or experience, with a foundational understanding of elements like APIs, system integrations, and data structures (HTML/CSS a plus).

  • Able to communicate about technology clearly and coherently, even with non-technical audiences — interpersonal skills are as valuable as technical skills in this role.

  • Genuinely curious — you explore technology for fun, not just for work, and you already reach for AI tools to work smarter (or you're itching to).

  • Self-driven and hungry to grow — you seek feedback, take ownership, and don't wait to be told what to do.

  • You ramp up quickly and adapt well when things change (and in MarTech, they always do).

  • Comfortable with ambiguity — you find the path forward even when the playbook isn't written yet.

  • Strong multitasking and prioritization skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.

  • Experience in MarTech, CRM, SaaS, or customer engagement platforms is a strong advantage.

For those applicants in the NYC area, the salary range for this role is $70,000 to $90,000 per year plus a commission. The salary offered will be based on experience, role, and location.
