Attend this event if you’re looking for an introduction to designing your own website from scratch. You’ll learn the basics of HTML and CSS and watch step by step as a website is built in real time. While the event is geared toward beginners, it also provides a good refresh for those with some web coding experience.

 

Women in Charge: Getting to the Top and Staying There, Sept. 18 at 8 a.m.

This half-day forum brings together a number of women in leadership positions at local companies. Panelists include female leaders at Kate Spade, Chillhouse and more, with a keynote address from Sydney Schaub, General Counsel of Rent the Runway to kick things off.

 

Livestream: Learning to Productionize On-Premise, Sept. 18 at 9:30 p.m.

Attend this tech-heavy event to learn from Matthew Schlachtman, an experienced data analyst at Wells Fargo. You’ll learn about his team’s experience with designing the workflow, data pipelines, historical feature generation, and MAAS-related systems, on-premise. He’ll also go over other technical considerations needed to bring a MOJO into a MAAS architecture for internal use.

 

AI: Building Products that Understand, Sept. 19 at 6 p.m.

You’ll get the chance to discuss the power of AI and learn from a panel of techies heavily involved in the evolving industry.

 

What Is a Product Manager’s Role, Sept. 20 at 6:30 p.m.

Dheerja Kaur, theSkimm’s head of product, will go over the nuances of working at a product team that has both physical and technical properties. You’ll learn how to turn ideas into realities and keep a product continuously improving. Tickets can be purchased at the door at 6 p.m.
