Partner cross-functionally with Finance, Legal, Product, Marketing, and executives to communicate the company’s performance, strategy, market position, and long-term opportunities to investors and analysts.

Manages revenue accounting for a high-growth SaaS business, including monthly close, ASC 606 technical conclusions, SOX controls, audits, revenue metrics, and order-to-cash improvements. Leads and develops revenue accountants while partnering with Deal Desk, Legal, Sales Systems, Order Operations, Customer Success, and Financial Systems. Oversees complex billing arrangements, process automation, systems enhancements, and cross-functional resolution of customer billing matters.

Supports Datadog’s R&D Finance team through budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, spend management, ROI and profitability analysis, board reporting, and strategic projects. Partners with engineering and product leaders, including the CTO, to manage departmental budgets and inform investment decisions. Uses financial planning and BI tools such as Pigment, Tableau, and Metabase. The role is hybrid and requires three office days weekly.

Manages accounts receivable collections for an assigned book of business, analyzes payment patterns and aging reports, resolves billing disputes, handles customer inquiries through Zendesk, and develops client relationships to drive timely payment. The role also supports audits, compliance projects, and mentorship of junior team members while collaborating with Revenue, Sales, and Customer Success.

Lead U.S. multi-state sales and use tax compliance, support audits, coordinate global VAT/GST obligations, monitor nexus and e-invoicing changes, partner with cross-functional teams to embed tax controls, and develop scalable processes and SOX-aligned documentation.
