Manages second-line oversight of network participant and operational risks within Capital One’s Global Payments Network. Responsibilities include developing testing and monitoring strategies, analyzing data, challenging first-line risk decisions, validating controls, documenting findings, identifying trends, and supporting remediation plans. The role also contributes to risk policies, issue and event analysis, stakeholder collaboration, and executive guidance across risk management functions.

Provides risk consulting to multiple business areas, analyzes trends, advises senior leaders, and guides implementation of risk management practices while managing team priorities and strategic initiatives.

Leads FP&A and strategic finance for enterprise AI initiatives, including forecasting, budgeting, financial analysis, funding prioritization, roadmap planning, and executive reporting. Manages and develops a finance team, partners with product, engineering, strategy, and finance leaders, identifies cost drivers and business opportunities, and recommends actions based on analytical insights. Drives projects, process improvements, automation, and cross-functional decision-making.

Leads independent commercial credit reviews, transactional testing, targeted risk assessments, portfolio analysis, and credit policy evaluation. Identifies emerging risks and process gaps, communicates findings to executives and regulators, supports monitoring and business assessment reports, and partners with stakeholders across Capital One and Brex. Requires extensive transactional credit experience, strong financial analysis, leadership, communication, and risk management skills.

Supports financial reconciliation and exception management across flight, hotel, and car products. Investigates booking, payment, settlement, refund, and provider discrepancies; maintains reporting and documentation; tracks escalations; and assists with testing, QA, bug triage, automation, and operational investigations. Partners with customer service, product, technology, commercial, finance, and travel-provider teams to improve financial accuracy, workflow efficiency, compliance, and customer experience.

Support sourcing, due diligence, and execution of direct venture investments. Develop investment theses, collaborate with Capital One business teams, monitor and report on portfolio companies, identify commercial opportunities, and mentor Ventures team members.

Provide payments risk consulting and challenge for stablecoin and other payment initiatives. Partner with cross-functional teams to identify trends, analyze events, manage risk initiatives, support acquisitions, and report on enterprise payments risk. Research external payments risk themes and ensure ORM policy adoption.

Lead FP&A for Capital One Software: analyze end-to-end P&L, perform variance and driver analysis, build business cases and financial models, partner with business leaders on pricing and contracts, present insights to senior management, manage and develop 2-3 analysts, and improve financial processes and ad-hoc analyses for strategic projects.

Lead strategic business planning, product and pricing strategy, analytic modeling, and cross-functional execution for lending products. Manage/mentor analysts, drive credit-risk and marketing analytics, own business outcomes and coordinate delivery across IT, Finance, Sales, and Operations.

Manage and execute supplier payment processes including invoice validation, dispute resolution, reconciliations, and control testing. Partner with cross-functional teams to reduce exceptions, drive automation, and lead ad-hoc finance projects to improve payment workflows and risk controls.
