Underwrite commercial surety accounts for the Northeast/Mid-Atlantic region by analyzing financial statements, credit checks, and bank agreements; select and price risk, ensure guideline compliance, coach staff, build stakeholder relationships, and drive branch profitability while providing exceptional customer service.

Underwrite and produce profitable fine art inland marine coverage nationally. Evaluate submissions, select risks, set terms and pricing, analyze reports, maintain accounts, and support customer relationships. Market products, visit producers and insureds, participate in calls, prepare communications, and ensure compliance with underwriting guidelines. Support growth, profitability, and team collaboration; travel up to 20%.

Support underwriting operations and IT by building automation and AI-enabled tools, validating data, coordinating deployments, testing implementations, maintaining reports and dashboards, and improving workflows. Liaise with vendors and cross-functional teams to streamline submissions and support underwriting processes.

Owns an Agile delivery team’s product backlog for an underwriting modernization initiative. Builds stakeholder trust, facilitates alignment, communicates priorities and outcomes, and develops product leadership capabilities. Insurance, financial services, technology, operations, or business analysis experience is preferred.

Assists with analyzing complex datasets, developing predictive models for insurance underwriting, pricing, claims, and retention, and building data pipelines and automated reporting. Collaborates with actuarial, underwriting, claims, product, and data engineering teams to solve business problems. Communicates insights through visualization and data storytelling, monitors model performance and data quality, and explores new data sources and modeling techniques while supporting insurance model governance.
