Leads Meritus College’s learner-facing academic experience, including curriculum and program design, instructional quality, learner services, assessment, academic policy, and accreditation readiness. Manages instruction, program design, and learner services teams; establishes scalable systems, standards, and processes; oversees academic metrics and continuous improvement; and partners with the Chief Academic Officer on programs, modalities, credential structures, and support models.

Leads course and learning experience design for online, competency-based programs while managing instructional and learner support work. Designs courses, assessments, templates, and accessibility standards; partners with subject matter experts and adjunct faculty; coordinates timelines, dependencies, and team workflows; and uses learner feedback and LMS data for continuous improvement. This player-coach role also supports team leadership, capacity planning, academic integrity, and accreditation-ready documentation.

The Director of Operations will coordinate priorities, decisions, and communication across Meritus College teams. The role owns operating rhythms, workflows, systems, cross-functional program management, issue resolution, stakeholder communications, change management, and college-wide forums. This leader will identify organizational gaps, build scalable processes in a 0-to-1 environment, advise senior leadership, develop executive materials, and bring structure and momentum to complex, ambiguous initiatives.
