Ensures regulatory accuracy, completeness, and deadline compliance while supporting audits and examinations.

Investigates and documents suspicious activity monitoring cases within a bank’s BSA/AML and sanctions operations program. Responsibilities include enhanced due diligence, SAR referrals, CTR accuracy, regulatory inquiries, case queue management, risk assessments, quality reviews, root cause analysis, policy support, and feedback on transaction-monitoring rules. The role collaborates with compliance, analytics, technology, assurance, and program management teams to maintain effective, risk-based financial crime controls.

Prospect, qualify, and close new commercial finance accounts focused on working capital. Build referral networks, present financial products, manage sales pipelines, negotiate profitable deals, collect borrower information for underwriting, and meet volume, margin, fee, and cross-sell targets. Maintain customer and partner relationships, monitor competitors, collaborate across departments, support marketing initiatives, and contribute to portfolio growth and retention.

Leads BSA/AML suspicious activity monitoring case operations, including investigations, dispositions, escalations, SAR referrals, CTR compliance, regulatory responses, metrics, board reporting, root cause analysis, rule tuning, governance, and team development. Oversees managers and investigative teams while partnering with compliance, technology, analytics, assurance, and senior leadership to strengthen financial crime controls and regulatory effectiveness.

Manages the independent quality control program for BSA/AML and sanctions operations. Oversees risk-based sampling, error-taxonomy application, calibration, analyst leadership, results reporting, governance follow-up, and read-only system access. Ensures QC independence from production decisions, supports internal audit and compliance testing, and maintains product-aware reviews across card issuing, acquiring, tax products, digital payments, and sanctions screening.
