Oversee monthly close, vendor relationships, footnotes, journal entries, and collaborate with investment teams. Research accounting guidance, prepare analytics for finance leaders, ensure internal controls, support reinsurance cedants, and coach junior staff while driving process improvements.

Lead strategic direction and governance for GAAP and Statutory accounting, reporting, and analytics for alternative investments and mortgage loans. Oversee monthly close, third‑party accounting vendor performance, technical accounting research, financial controls, stakeholder reporting, and talent development while driving process improvement and automation.

Prepare and review quarterly and annual financial statements and regulatory filings across US GAAP, US Statutory, and Bermuda frameworks. Support group consolidation, intercompany eliminations, variance analysis, management and Board reporting, internal controls (J-SOX), audit requests, and technical accounting research. Mentor junior staff and collaborate with Actuarial, Treasury, and FP&A to ensure accurate, timely reporting.
