Builds joint solutions, value propositions, go-to-market strategies, and co-sell motions that generate customer adoption, pipeline, and revenue. Engages executives, customers, product and engineering teams, and partner field organizations to advance complex AI infrastructure opportunities. Establishes business plans and operating cadences while building and leading a high-performing cloud business development organization.

Establish technical strategy, operating models, hiring standards, and sales motions while partnering with Federal Sales, Product, Engineering, and strategic partners. Guide complex AI and data infrastructure architectures, executive engagements, competitive opportunities, and technical deal execution. Build trusted government relationships and translate full-stack technology capabilities into mission impact and business value.

Drive new customer acquisition for VAST Data’s AI and analytics platform. Build pipeline through strategic prospecting, account-based selling, executive engagement, and partner relationships. Manage complex enterprise sales cycles from discovery and technical evaluation through negotiation, closing, and expansion. Engage data, analytics, AI, engineering, and executive stakeholders while developing account plans, forecasting pipeline, and translating technical capabilities into business outcomes.

Owns technical strategy and field success for VAST deployments on partner hardware, especially EBox. Architects and sizes infrastructure solutions, defines performance expectations, validates deployment readiness, leads complex troubleshooting, and supports strategic customer engagements. Partners with Sales Engineering, Support, Engineering, Product, and OEM teams to develop custom solutions, deployment plans, repeatable architectures, and best practices for enterprise storage and software-defined infrastructure.

Lead VAST Data’s business development strategy and strategic partnerships across the AI inference and accelerator ecosystem. Build relationships with compute, semiconductor, accelerator, cloud, and infrastructure companies; define joint technical and commercial value propositions; develop reference architectures, solutions, account strategies, co-selling motions, and enterprise go-to-market programs. Coordinate VAST’s sales, product, engineering, solutions, and marketing teams with partner organizations while evaluating emerging technologies and creating structure in an evolving market.

Own and expand VAST Data’s strategic go-to-market partnership with AMD. Build executive, product, alliances, and field relationships; develop joint solutions, reference designs, enablement, and positioning; activate AMD sellers to identify opportunities; connect field teams and generate pipeline; and coordinate internal product, engineering, sales, and technical stakeholders. The role may later expand to additional strategic hardware partnerships.

Support global sales teams through quoting and deal execution across the Quote-to-Cash lifecycle. Responsibilities include configuring quotes, managing pricing and discounts, coordinating cross-functional approvals, ensuring commercial compliance, training sales representatives, resolving deal blockers, and improving sales workflows, controls, cycle time, and data integrity.

Own the technical success of strategic customer deployments from design through production. Collaborate with customer architects, operators, and developers to optimize infrastructure, debug distributed systems and storage issues, build automation and API solutions, and translate operational needs into product improvements. Serve as the customer advocate within engineering while managing high-stakes technical challenges and deployment expectations. Travel or work onsite at customer locations up to 25%.

Drive revenue across Department of Defense customers through prospecting, account development, relationship management, proposals, proof-of-concept support, and post-sale expansion. Build and expand partnerships with systems resellers, integrators, OEMs, FSI organizations, and application partners. Manage customer buying cycles, exceed sales quotas, and position VAST data infrastructure solutions for AI/ML, HPC, Splunk, backup, and edge-computing applications.

The role involves leading VAST's hedge fund strategy, building relationships with industry executives, and developing market intelligence to drive growth and innovation.
