Reviews financial and compliance data, verifies appropriate use of funds, evaluates audit findings, ensures reports meet agency requirements, and follows up on corrective action plans. Serves as liaison to CPA firms and nonprofits, provides technical assistance, reviews revenue and expenditure schedules, supports contract closeout, and completes special audit projects.

Directs Aging Connect operations, program compliance, reporting, staff support, volunteer initiatives, budgets, grants, purchasing, and partnerships. Responsibilities include planning fiscal and programmatic audits, monitoring subcontractor financial controls, reviewing audit findings, overseeing contract closeout teams, strengthening internal controls and risk management, preparing reports, developing policies, coordinating compliance training, evaluating compliance software, and advising leadership on regulatory adherence and operational improvements.

Serves as strategic advisor to the Associate Commissioner of Budget and Capital Program Management.
