Assists with structural engineering design for water tunnels, wastewater treatment systems, and complex facilities. Prepares plans, specifications, calculations, reports, schedules, and contract documents; reviews shop drawings, material approvals, RFIs, and change orders; conducts field investigations, inspections, testing, and commissioning; coordinates with engineers and stakeholders; and supports construction services and outsourced design reviews.

Supervises consumer and worker protection inspection operations, including work assignments, field inspections, staff management, training, performance evaluations, quality assurance, reporting, evidence reconciliation, adjudicatory proceedings, and agency coordination. The Supervisor also develops training materials, supports policy reviews, ensures compliance with departmental standards, represents the division in meetings, and may assume Manager or Deputy Director duties.

Directs development of automated analytics products, guides engineering through design and testing, advises agency leadership on technology policy, and manages team hiring, supervision, and development.

Reviews and processes purchase and payment requisitions, reconciles budget and financial-system data, prepares budget modifications and contract documents, tracks registrations and funding, and supports compliance with municipal procurement and financial policies. The role coordinates approvals, maintains payment databases, prepares invoice accounting forms, liaises with the Office of Citywide Procurement, and collaborates with internal and external stakeholders.
