Support the CIO and Portfolio Manager in researching, evaluating, monitoring, and managing long/short equity hedge fund investments. Conduct manager due diligence, develop hiring and divestment recommendations, negotiate investment terms, and maintain manager documentation. Build and implement quantitative frameworks, including data cleansing, backtesting, statistical analysis, reporting, and production tools, while generating insights to inform investment decisions.

Supports wealth planners and investment advisors serving high-net-worth clients. Responsibilities include gathering and validating client data, maintaining eMoney or Vanilla records, building financial models and planning outputs, supporting estate tax scenarios, reviewing estate documents, conducting estate and tax research, preparing client materials, tracking regulatory developments, and coordinating with attorneys, accountants, and other service providers.

Supports quantitative investment research and market analysis by developing dashboards, white papers, and other research outputs. Responsibilities include sourcing and manipulating large financial datasets, documenting methodologies, improving and automating research processes, maintaining research databases and metadata, optimizing data sourcing, and supporting trade implementation and monitoring. The role requires strong quantitative programming, visualization, communication, and problem-solving skills, with financial markets or macroeconomic knowledge helpful.

Support the CIO in managing multi-strategy hedge fund investments: source and evaluate external managers, prepare hiring/firing recommendations, monitor manager performance, negotiate terms, maintain documentation, and develop frameworks for forecasting returns and assessing manager alpha potential. Assist on special projects and broader investment initiatives.

Supports risk special projects across liquidity, counterparty, operational, and market risk. Enhances risk frameworks, methodologies, reporting, systems, and applications; builds prototypes; performs ad hoc analyses, data visualization, and pro-forma risk calculations. Collaborates with investment, treasury, finance, legal, and operations teams, develops crisis and tail-risk playbooks, documents policies and procedures, and conducts research and industry benchmarking.
