Develop and close complex business opportunities in the higher education sector by selling Salesforce, data and analytics, and strategic transformation services. Responsibilities include lead generation, discovery, solution scoping, proposals, RFPs, statements of work, sales presentations, procurement support, executive relationship management, and ongoing account management.

Lead growth of Salesforce services across the U.S. federal market by developing accounts, managing pipelines, shaping opportunities, leading captures and proposals, and transitioning awarded work to delivery. Drive federal-market growth for grants management services by building executive and partner relationships, developing account and pipeline strategies, leading capture and proposal activities, shaping opportunities, and transitioning awarded work to delivery. The role requires expertise in the federal grants lifecycle, financial assistance regulations, consulting or professional services sales, and multidisciplinary solutions involving technology modernization, analytics, compliance, and change management.

Lead Salesforce solution architecture for university advancement and nonprofit fundraising implementations. Translate business requirements into scalable designs, oversee configuration, integrations, data architecture, development, testing, deployment, and production support. Facilitate discovery workshops, define user stories, manage solution quality, and advise business and technical stakeholders. Support training, documentation, knowledge transfer, proposals, estimates, proofs of concept, practice growth, and client relationships. Periodic travel is required based on business and client needs.

Implements and maintains university research security and export controls compliance programs. Advises stakeholders on ITAR, EAR, OFAC, CUI, federal funding, and contracting requirements; conducts risk assessments; manages restricted-party screening, licenses, technology control plans, international travel reviews, reporting, training, and regulatory compliance initiatives.

Review, draft, and negotiate research-related agreements (grants, clinical trial agreements, subawards, DUAs, MTAs, confidentiality and sponsor contracts). Ensure compliance with institutional policies and federal/state regulations, identify and mitigate legal, financial, compliance and IP risks, and collaborate with faculty, PIs, and administrators to support timely, compliant research contracting.
