The Finance Manager will manage fund accounting, financial reporting, and improve workflows using AI and automation tools. They will collaborate with the client's finance team and external parties.

Oversee accounting, financial reporting, NAV reviews, capital activity, investor reporting, and operational administration for private credit and alternative investment funds. Review transactions, valuations, reconciliations, financial statements, and complex allocations while ensuring compliance with GAAP, fund documents, and internal controls. Serve as the primary client accounting contact, coordinate with auditors and service providers, improve processes, support fund onboarding and systems initiatives, and mentor fund accounting staff.

Serve as embedded finance controller for a growth equity client, leading fund accounting, quarterly/annual closes, financial statements, NAV and waterfall calculations, capital calls/distributions, audits, tax reporting, and cash forecasting. Partner with internal and external teams to resolve technical accounting issues, improve processes, and implement AI/automation and system enhancements to scale operations.

Supports investor relations and business development for private equity and credit funds. Responsibilities include investor communications, fundraising initiatives, diligence management, pitchbooks, RFPs, DDQs, reporting, market research, investor onboarding, and coordination across investment, finance, legal, compliance, and operations teams. The role analyzes fund and portfolio data, develops compelling investment content, manages investor requests, and supports conferences, roadshows, and client meetings.

Serve as primary contact for credit fund clients, overseeing engagements from proposal through administration. Manage staffing and training, implement processes, review partnership allocations, investor communications, and investment transactions in Investran Live. Approve fees, invoices, and journal entries; oversee cash reconciliations and financial statement reviews. Calculate performance metrics (MOIC, IRR, TVPI, RVPI, DPI) and lead preparations for interim and annual audits while collaborating with leadership on strategic projects.

Lead fund accounting for a portfolio of Business Development Companies (BDCs), owning NAV oversight, portfolio valuation, investor and regulatory reporting, and 40 Act compliance. Manage and mentor fund accountants, coordinate with administrators, auditors, custodians, and tax advisors, support audits, monitor credit facilities and covenants, and implement process improvements while maintaining US GAAP and regulatory knowledge.

Serve as the primary HR business partner for co-source and lift-out client teams, managing bespoke policies and end-to-end lift-out processes. Support 40+ managers across 185+ employees, handle onboarding, performance, compensation, benefits, leave, and offboarding. Maintain HRIS data integrity, track utilization and risks, and partner on strategic projects to scale HR infrastructure and support for a rapidly growing client-facing segment.

Manage day-to-day credit operations for private credit funds including liquidity and facility management, loan and trade settlements, counterparty onboarding, portfolio monitoring, valuation support, and fund accounting/ investor reporting coordination to ensure data integrity and accurate NAV/quarterly deliverables.

Lead Petra's Strategic Partnership efforts for lift-out and co-sourcing engagements: own client relationships from proposal through execution, manage migrations and retention, coordinate legal and finance deliverables, partner closely with People/HR on talent and onboarding, support sales pipeline and marketing, and coach impacted employees to ensure seamless transitions and long-term client success.

Lead the configuration and optimization of the Allvue platform, manage cross-functional initiatives, support client onboarding, and resolve complex system issues.
