Owns fund accounting accuracy and review for private equity, credit, co-investment, and SPV entities. Responsibilities include capital activity, investor allocations, expense classification, treasury and cash management, quarterly close review, financial statement and NAV validation, carried interest and waterfall calculations, tax support, audit deliverables, and administrator oversight. The role independently recomputes, challenges, and signs off on outsourced work while partnering with the Controller and coordinating with administrators, auditors, tax preparers, and investors.

Owns internal review and sign-off for private equity and credit fund accounting, including financial statements, allocations, waterfalls, capital activity, fees, valuations, and investor reporting. The role applies US GAAP, ASC 946, and ASC 820; oversees treasury, audits, tax support, third-party administrators, controls, and fund economics; and manages a Senior Fund Accountant while leading process improvements and system implementation.

Own accounting, valuation, financial reporting, cash management, and treasury activities for private credit, structured equity, and special situations investments. Coordinate with fund administrators, auditors, tax preparers, and investment teams; oversee loan-level accounting, credit facility reconciliations, NAV support, capital calls, distributions, fees, carry, and investor reporting. Build scalable accounting processes and internal controls for fund and SPV entities.

Serve as embedded finance controller for a growth equity client, leading fund accounting, quarterly/annual closes, financial statements, NAV and waterfall calculations, capital calls/distributions, audits, tax reporting, and cash forecasting.
