Serve as a fractional Chief Risk Officer for hedge funds and family offices, building and overseeing operational risk programs (KRIs, RCSAs, vendor due diligence), designing controls and policies, conducting audits and control testing, advising on vendor/IT/cyber risks, and producing risk reporting and action plans to improve operational resilience and regulatory compliance.

Provide senior tax leadership for alternative asset firms and family offices: develop and implement tax compliance and reporting policies, manage outsourced tax filings and vendors, oversee payroll tax processes, lead audits, advise on tax planning and laws, and support budgeting and reporting with KPI-driven action plans.

Serve as fractional Chief Legal Counsel/General Counsel advising alternative asset firms and family offices on securities law, fund formation, regulatory compliance, contracts, transactions, governance, litigation and vendor relationships. Lead fund structuring, investor negotiations, regulatory responses, training, policy development, and special projects while managing outside counsel and legal budgets across US and international jurisdictions.

Serve as a fractional Controller for alternative asset firms and family offices: manage financial reporting, month-end close, payroll, AR/AP, cash forecasting, audit/tax support, build controls, advise on vendor selection, implement policies, and deliver KPI-based analysis and pro forma financial models to senior leadership on project-based engagements.

Provide fractional investment management and operational due diligence for alternative asset clients. Conduct manager interviews, analyze investment process, operations, risk frameworks, and performance; prepare due diligence reports and memos; benchmark managers; monitor relationships; build diligence frameworks; and support special projects and cross-functional collaboration with legal, compliance, and sales.

Consult as a Fractional Chief Risk Officer to hedge funds and family offices: design and run investment risk frameworks, perform quantitative risk analysis (VaR, stress testing, liquidity, counterparty), build optimization models, monitor exposures and limits, prepare management risk reports, implement policies and controls, support ESG metrics, and advise on risk systems and methodologies.
