Support the Benefits team with new hire orientation, I-9 audit, document scanning and file automation, ID badge preparation, and help develop benefits policies and procedures. Gain hands-on HR benefits experience during a June–August in-person internship.

Manage pre-award and post-award contract and grant activities including proposal administrative components, subcontract approvals, account setup, compliance monitoring, budgeting, invoicing, audit support, financial reporting, and contract close-outs. Coordinate with finance, HR, program staff and funding agencies; prepare financial analyses and present budget-to-actuals to senior leadership. Recommend process improvements and ensure adherence to GAAP and organizational finance policies.

Manage a portfolio of government and foundation grants, oversee billing and reporting, perform post-award compliance and financial tasks, maintain contract records, support audits, coordinate close-outs and modifications, and collaborate with finance and program teams.

Lead and manage internal and external financial, compliance, and programmatic audits. Evaluate internal controls, perform risk assessments and transactional testing, review IT general controls and third-party reports, document key processes, analyze financial data, draft findings and management action plans, and coordinate with external auditors. Drive improvements to controls and support special projects as assigned.

Supervise office staff and provide administrative support to program staff. Maintain filing systems, perform clerical tasks (reception, word processing), order supplies, coordinate copier/fax maintenance, and handle general office coordination during standard weekday hours.

Manage full lifecycle of contingent workforce: administer tracking system, liaison with staffing agencies, ensure compliance, coordinate onboarding/offboarding, maintain audit-ready records, oversee timesheets and agency invoicing, resolve billing discrepancies, and partner with HR and Finance.

Manage vendor accounts and process invoices, verify financial data, prepare journal entries and reconciliations, assist month-end close, maintain records, and support annual audits.

Manage end-to-end payroll processing and tax filings, administer employee benefits and open enrollment, serve as employee point-of-contact, maintain payroll records, ensure compliance with regulations, reconcile data with HR and finance, and coordinate with benefit vendors.
