The intern will shadow advisors while gaining experience in small business counseling, lending processes, financial education, and community development. This is a part-time or summer full-time, on-site internship in New York City requiring fluency in Tagalog, Thai, or Vietnamese and occasional travel across NYC boroughs.

Build relationships with small businesses and community partners, generate loan applicant pipelines, pre-screen applications, package loans for underwriting, provide business coaching, and monitor small business loan portfolios. Manages a small business loan portfolio, conducts site visits, leads educational workshops, maintains Salesforce records, and develops community partnerships and referral opportunities. Conduct community outreach to promote small business education, technical assistance, and microloan programs.
