A 12-week institutional sales internship rotating across sales, account management, execution services, financing, solutions architecture, and research. Supports FP&A for Coinbase product groups by building revenue forecasting models, analyzing macroeconomic and crypto-market drivers, conducting variance and quantitative analyses, creating performance dashboards, and partnering with Business Operations, Data, Accounting, Treasury, and Investor Relations teams to identify risks and opportunities.

Twelve-week Internal Audit internship supporting IT, SOX, or Financial Crimes Compliance audits. Responsibilities include planning through reporting, preparing workpapers, analyzing datasets with SQL or analytics tools, evaluating controls and evidence, documenting workflows and risks, presenting findings, and prototyping responsible AI applications for audit efficiency.

Analyze payment fraud data using SQL and dashboards, identify anomalous behavior and risk trends, evaluate fraud controls, and recommend improvements. Present findings to leadership and collaborate with Product, Data Science, Engineering, Customer Experience, and Risk Analytics teams. The intern will also document risk processes and responsibly use generative AI to improve workflow efficiency and quality.

Support credit underwriting, counterparty and asset-level risk monitoring, portfolio and volatility analysis, exposure reviews, and risk reporting for institutional digital-asset clients. The intern will recommend credit ratings and limits, identify concentration risks, collaborate with product, sales, operations, and legal teams, and research regulatory and crypto-market developments.

Contributes to a real estate and workplace standardization initiative by supporting project planning, stakeholder alignment, milestone tracking, research, and post-project evaluation. Partners with Design, Builds, and Workplace Experience teams to streamline processes and develop scalable tools, playbooks, templates, and guidelines. Synthesizes industry trends, benchmarks, and internal data into recommendations that improve workplace strategy and execution consistency.

Supports Coinbase’s Learning team by creating AI-assisted learning content, coordinating instructor-led sessions and L&D offsites, prototyping adaptive learning experiences, analyzing engagement data, and maintaining program documentation and communications. The 12-week summer internship combines instructional design, program coordination, generative AI, and data-informed improvement of employee learning programs.

Supports tax provisioning, financial reporting, balance sheet reconciliations, internal controls, audit requests, process documentation, and ad hoc financial analysis. The intern works with the Tax Controller on compliance and controllership processes across operating jurisdictions while developing expertise in digital assets and crypto taxation.

Support Coinbase Treasury Operations with daily cash management, bank account funding, liquidity reporting, reconciliations, fiat safeguarding controls, payment issue resolution, dashboards, and research into payment rail optimization, banking relationships, and process improvements. Collaborate with banking partners and Product, Engineering, and Compliance teams during a 12-week summer internship.

Supports Institutional Operations Solutions by managing daily operations, identifying operational and regulatory risks, improving processes through data analysis, and partnering with Product and Engineering on scalable technology solutions. The intern will analyze datasets, develop quantitative recommendations, collaborate cross-functionally, and present solutions to leadership during a 12-week summer internship.
