Lead a global software engineering team building and operating scalable, fault-tolerant electronic trading platforms. Own technical strategy, architecture, requirements, development, testing, production support, and delivery. Design event-driven systems using Java and Kafka, guide cloud-native modernization with Kubernetes, evaluate technologies, mentor engineers, and establish strong engineering practices. Partner closely with product, architecture, business, and executive stakeholders while applying AI-assisted development practices and maintaining a customer-focused product mindset.

Supports senior relationship managers by assisting with institutional client relationships, onboarding, training, analytics, reporting, meeting preparation, and follow-ups. Develops expertise in fixed-income products, corporate bond markets, electronic trading, and MarketAxess solutions. Collaborates with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Technology teams, supports client-facing materials and industry events, and uses AI-enabled workflows to automate reporting and generate market and client insights. Requires 3+ years of fixed-income sales or client-facing experience and securities licensing.

Facilitates liquidity and trade execution across MarketAxess’s Open Trading marketplace. Responsibilities include resolving trade disputes, building dealer and client relationships, identifying trading opportunities, supporting marketplace growth, analyzing pricing and market trends, reporting performance insights, and collaborating with Sales, Product, Technology, and Client Services teams. Requires fixed-income market expertise, front-office trading experience, AI fluency, and Series 7 and 63 licenses.
