Responsibilities include hiring, onboarding, coaching, pipeline inspection, forecasting, call reviews, performance development, and partnering with Account Executives, Marketing, and Enablement. The role also supports strategic market expansion across Asian cuisine communities, adapts messaging, improves funnel efficiency, and directly coaches Mandarin-speaking representatives and prospects.

Own the end-to-end design of Toast’s reservations and booking experiences, from ambiguous problem definition through shipped interfaces. Create rapid prototypes, run experiments, use behavioral data and feedback, and deliver polished native mobile and responsive web experiences. Collaborate with product, engineering, research, and marketing; contribute to design systems; mentor peers through critique and pairing; and apply AI prototyping tools thoughtfully.

Lead the design, development, and delivery of scalable payroll onboarding software. Drive technically complex initiatives, influence architecture and roadmaps, collaborate across product, design, and engineering, improve reliability, promote coding best practices, mentor engineers, and use AI tools to enhance development productivity.

Build and ship production software for Toast’s retail platform, partnering with engineering, product, and customers. Responsibilities include identifying opportunities, designing and prototyping end-to-end solutions, making foundational technical decisions, incorporating customer feedback, tracking industry trends, and deploying AI-powered experiences. The role supports large grocery and convenience-store customers and may involve visiting stores to understand operator workflows.

Design, build, deploy, and maintain resilient, scalable backend services and platform components for Toast's Voice AI platform. Lead cross-cutting architecture and projects, integrate AI platforms (LLMs), implement observability and evaluation for AI systems, set engineering standards, and mentor engineers.

Lead Toast’s product and platform security organization, overseeing security platform engineering, application and cloud security, secure development practices, offensive security, vulnerability management, hardware security, and developer enablement. Partner with product and engineering leaders to establish secure defaults and scalable guardrails while reducing developer friction. Manage and grow a multi-team security engineering organization, expand security champions and tooling adoption, and align security posture with business and product priorities.

Generates qualified pipeline for enterprise account executives through outbound prospecting, cold calling, account mapping, lead nurturing, and scheduling discovery calls and demos. Maintains Salesforce records, collaborates with account executives and cross-functional teams, promotes new products, and supports enterprise marketing efforts. The role requires persistence, customer empathy, strong communication, organization, and comfort engaging senior decision-makers across large restaurant organizations.
