The Business Development Associate will drive lead generation, manage a sales pipeline, and convert leads into sales for retirement solutions, mainly through collaboration with financial advisors.

Lead and grow an AI engineering organization to design, build, and operate production-grade AI services. Define architecture, drive execution, implement RAG, agents, and orchestration, ensure reliability, observability, and CI/CD, and partner with Product, Data, Security, and business stakeholders while recruiting and mentoring engineers.

Serve as primary client contact for advisors and plan sponsors: answer inbound calls and emails, resolve administration issues, create and track tickets, host webinars, collaborate cross-functionally, share product feedback, and meet service level requirements to ensure client satisfaction.

Manage and retain top employer clients and pooled plans, handle inbound inquiries and change orders, conduct proactive outreach and client reviews, collaborate cross-functionally, create processes and playbooks, provide coverage to other service teams, document interactions, and escalate compliance or legal issues as needed.

Support the VP of National Sales by building scalable dashboards and executive reporting, conducting ROI and sales-cycle analyses, managing discount budgets and commission workflows, and drafting strategic planning materials to scale the go-to-market model and identify growth opportunities.

Consult with plan sponsors to design and document compliant retirement plans. Interpret ERISA/DOL/IRS rules, draft and maintain plan documents, manage large document projects, and partner with onboarding, product, and operations to automate and scale plan document processes.

The Senior Associate will manage the onboarding process for plan sponsors and financial advisors, ensuring a smooth transition to Vestwell's platform while collaborating cross-functionally and providing project management support.
