The Accounting Manager role involves overseeing financial close activities, managing accounting functions, developing policies, collaborating across teams, and leading automation projects.

Provide high-touch advisor support for 401(k) plan administration and ERISA compliance. Manage high-volume inquiries, coordinate cross-functional issue resolution, document processes, identify scalable improvements, and maintain case management and SLAs to strengthen advisor relationships.

Build and own data platform infrastructure and scalable pipelines (ingestion, orchestration, transformation, delivery). Define governance, observability, and AI-first architecture. Optimize performance, ensure data quality, mentor engineers, and integrate AI-assisted tooling.

Manage and grow partner relationships (tech, HCM, brokers, CPAs, financial advisors) to drive lead generation and revenue. Build referral networks, run co-marketing initiatives, set partner goals/metrics, resolve partner issues cross-functionally, and execute go-to-market strategies to expand SMB retirement plan adoption.

Provide corporate, securities, and governance legal support for Human Interest, including board and equity matters, cap table and 409A coordination, corporate financings, contract negotiation, IPO readiness, M&A support, and management of outside counsel. Build governance and transactional playbooks and partner cross-functionally with Finance and People.
