Develops wafer-test infrastructure and design-verification experiments for photonic and electronic integrated circuits. Responsibilities include characterizing devices, automating wafer and chip test stations, integrating commercial hardware, analyzing measurement data, collaborating with design teams, and creating custom hardware with CAD and rapid prototyping to support manufacturing.

Designs and develops hardware test boards and platforms for high-speed electro-optical device characterization in R&D and manufacturing environments. Collaborate with industry partners, develop standards contributions, present technical ideas, and contribute to Wi-Fi link and system simulation platforms. Apply academic or standards experience, including AI/ML expertise in PHY and MAC layers, to advance wireless technologies.

Lead 6G physical-layer research and standardization covering MIMO, initial access, RF performance, AI-native PHY, Layer 1 control, and coexistence. Develop and validate radio concepts through link-level and system-level simulations, create intellectual property, define AI-enabled PHY evaluation methods, and represent Nokia in 3GPP and research forums. Shape long-term 6G technology strategy while collaborating with RAN, RF, regulatory, and systems teams.

Manages global supplier collaboration and material availability for memory components. Resolves allocation issues and supply escalations, analyzes supply positions using data and scenario planning, mitigates shortage risks, improves supplier performance, and coordinates with sourcing, materials, data management, manufacturing, and business teams. Presents insights to senior leaders and drives continuous improvement across Nokia’s global supply chain.

Leads quality assurance initiatives as a hands-on senior test automation engineer and functional manager. Develops test strategies covering end-to-end automation, scale, soak, regression, and chaos testing. Uses device simulators, hardware devices, and traffic generators to validate distributed-system resilience and stability. Collaborates across engineering teams, analyzes test results, mentors team members, and drives continuous improvement in testing processes and quality practices.
