Lead multidisciplinary design teams for large rail transit design-build and alternative delivery projects. Manage project planning, budgets, schedules, client relations, scope control, QA/QC, health and safety, and coordination with agencies, utilities, and stakeholders from concept through construction to meet contractual and financial goals.

Lead ATS/CBTC engineering efforts for NYCT projects: chair working groups, evaluate vendor deliverables, troubleshoot failures, assess upgrades, develop CONOPS, align technical, operational, maintenance, and IT stakeholders to improve system reliability and minimize downtime.

Define safety, reliability, availability, and maintainability objectives; conduct hazard analyses, FMEA, and software safety assurance; perform technical reviews; identify risks and implement assurance programs; mentor staff and coordinate with clients and stakeholders. Travel to client offices and project sites as needed.

Manage permitting compliance for the Hudson Tunnel/Gateway Program: implement and monitor permit mitigation measures, maintain tracking program, prepare permit applications/modifications, ensure permit condition compliance during design/construction, lead multidisciplinary teams, serve as water/wetlands expert, and coordinate with regulatory agencies and program partners.

Configure and maintain GIS databases and BIM models for a major rail infrastructure program. Provide application support for PMIS/Kahua, ensure GIS-BIM alignment, support digital twins and spatial analytics, maintain documentation, ensure regulatory compliance, and assist quality assurance and change management.

Develop, maintain, and update detailed Primavera P6 CPM baseline and progress schedules for heavy civil rail/tunnel construction. Resource/cost load schedules, produce cashflow forecasts, analyze delays and impacts, support change order and claims management, and coordinate with project teams to develop recovery plans and provide schedule data for estimating and invoicing.

Perform traffic engineering analyses and microsimulation modeling (VISSIM), prepare technical reports, calibrate/validate models, support traffic studies, and develop engineering deliverables. Engineer I completes assignments and uses CAE/CAD as applicable; Engineer II independently develops products, provides technical direction, and coordinates multidisciplinary teams. Hybrid NYC role with occasional field work.
