The Senior Accountant will support month- and quarter-end close, journal entries, reconciliations, variance analysis, financial reporting schedules, audits, tax payments, subsidiary invoicing, and accounting system initiatives. The role manages inquiries from employees, vendors, and third parties while collaborating with global accounting teams. Candidates should have strong accounting expertise, excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and at least five years of progressive accounting or finance experience.

Own and build Bitwise’s global accounting function across multiple jurisdictions. The Global Controller will establish accounting policies, controls, reporting standards, consolidation processes, and audit readiness under US GAAP, while overseeing IFRS and Swiss statutory reporting. Responsibilities include technical accounting, foreign currency translation, intercompany accounting, acquisition integration, PCAOB audits, risk remediation, and developing a high-performing global accounting team.
