Directs shelter intake social services programs, overseeing case management, housing placement, staff supervision, compliance, training, referrals, case reviews, and coordination with contracted providers and city agencies. Ensures efficient permanent placements, implements program initiatives, monitors client responsibility and staff performance, and chairs recurring social services meetings. The schedule is Sunday through Thursday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Responsibilities include conducting hearings and depositions, drafting pleadings and motions, managing discovery, appearing at conferences and oral arguments, preparing cases for trial, interviewing witnesses, developing trial strategy, and negotiating settlements.

Build and maintain a citywide GIS dataset for New York City's legal City Map, convert paper records into digital ArcGIS formats, update spatial data after amendments, prepare sketch maps, process change requests, and coordinate with agencies, partners, and constituents. Leads the Employment Law Unit’s legal strategy and daily operations, supervising attorneys and support staff. Coordinates payment and budget reviews with Finance, Quality Assurance, program leaders, and vendors. Manages contract renewals, amendments, closeouts, audit and FOIL materials, and project schedules. Site visits may be required.
