The intern will collaborate with legal and business teams, gain exposure to project finance and transactional law, and present work to colleagues at the end of the 10-week program.

Ten-week summer interns support DESRI’s Finance & Acquisitions and Strategy teams by building financial analyses and investment models, conducting due diligence, researching power markets and competitors, evaluating renewable energy and storage opportunities, and synthesizing insights for investment and business planning decisions.

Responsibilities include contract review and administration, corporate governance, entity management, regulatory filings, transaction closings, due diligence, compliance documentation, deadline tracking, and legal records management. The role partners cross-functionally and with external counsel while improving legal workflows, including identifying opportunities to use AI in legal processes.

Build and lead DESRI's internal IT function: define IT strategy and governance, manage infrastructure and enterprise applications (Microsoft 365, HRIS), lead cybersecurity and compliance, oversee vendor and budget management, establish service delivery and Help Desk, and scale a global IT team to support distributed operations and remote employees.
