Serve as primary accounting lead for a $6M nonprofit: execute monthly close, reconciliations, and journal entries; manage grant accounting, AR/AP, payroll, fixed assets, cash-flow projections, and government grant reporting; prepare audit schedules, tax filings (Form 990, NYS CHAR500), board financial reports, and strengthen internal controls.
