Lead US regulatory compliance for a stablecoin-native bank: translate federal and state banking laws into automated, scalable controls and code, build assurance and reporting frameworks, reduce manual oversight, enable fast product launches while ensuring regulatory safety and risk management.

Build and own the end-to-end Third-Party Risk Management program: vendor/partner intake, risk tiering, due diligence, ongoing monitoring, issue management, escalation, reporting, and governance to satisfy leadership and regulators.

Build and own the end-to-end Enterprise Risk Management program from scratch, including risk identification, assessment, monitoring, reporting, issue remediation, Model Risk Management, and Third-Party Risk Management. Create governance, inventories, dashboards, committee reporting, and escalation pathways to embed ERM into decision-making, product launches, and vendor management across the company.

Own and build the end-to-end customer due diligence program for the US market: design risk profiles and verification standards, perform complex entity reviews and EDD, partner with Operations to automate verification workflows, make decisive go/no-go determinations, and optimize risk scoring to reduce onboarding time while maintaining rigor.

Own day-to-day finance operations including AP, payroll administration, corporate cards, expense policy, daily cash management, and monthly close. Partner with Product and Engineering to automate workflows, support GL implementation, prepare audit/tax workpapers, build cash and P&L forecasts, and contribute to the annual budget. Report directly to the CFO and scale finance processes for a fast-growing bank.

Work directly with the CEO and senior leadership to run high-impact strategic projects end-to-end: conduct market and product analyses, build board-ready business cases, coordinate cross-functional execution, and create systems to scale operations. Positioning to own a P&L or product line as the company grows.

Build the bank's accounting infrastructure from scratch: lead GL and close, produce GAAP financials, file regulatory reports (call reports, FR Y-9SP), implement finance systems and reconciliations, design internal controls, coordinate audits, partner with Risk/Compliance, and govern AI-enabled finance workflows.

Lead design and build of the banks BSA/AML engine: translate compliance specs into decisioning rules, automate alerts/investigations, implement transaction monitoring, sanctions and SAR pipelines, ship production tooling, SOPs and audit trails, and partner with Product, Engineering and Compliance to minimize headcount scaling with volume.

First US People hire responsible for end-to-end recruiting, building pipelines, closing hires, and onboarding. Over time, expand into employee relations, business partnering, and people operations to shape culture and systems at a fast-growing regulated fintech.

Own Payments & Accounts product for a programmable bank: design and ship the global payment stack (US rails, SWIFT, SEPA, FPS), programmable accounts (DDAs, FBOs, virtual accounts), and APIs. Work with engineering, design, and customers to define roadmap, unblock delivery, scale deposits and payments, and build platform features that differentiate Augustus in regulated, stablecoin-native clearing.
