Leads BlackLine’s Forward-Deployed Advisory practice, scaling solution consulting across strategic enterprise pursuits. Directs and mentors senior Solution Advisors, partners with C-suite finance and technology leaders, establishes discovery and solution architecture standards, and translates AI and automation into accounting transformation strategies. The role also aligns Sales, Product, Customer Success, and Professional Services to improve enterprise deal cycles and customer value realization.

Partners with account managers to guide customers through BlackLine adoption, digital transformation, process optimization, training, change management, and roadmap development. Provides consulting, solution design, executive strategy sessions, and thought leadership using expertise in accounting, internal controls, financial analysis, invoice-to-cash, and intercompany operations. Drives customer adoption, expansion, retention, and improved customer experience.

Develop and advance the enterprise data platform by gathering business requirements, designing data models and warehouses, and building data visualization solutions. Administer reporting, analytics, and visualization platforms while promoting best practices. Collaborate cross-functionally, apply business and process knowledge, manage multiple projects, communicate strategically, and provide technical leadership in data engineering and business intelligence.

Develop demand for BlackLine products and solutions, communicate platform value to prospective clients, qualify leads within an assigned territory, and contribute to the sales organization. The role includes an intensive six-week training program focused on building effective business development processes and sales foundations.

The role requires a hybrid schedule with at least three days weekly onsite in New York City.

Supports SAP and SolEx sales teams by positioning BlackLine’s finance automation platform, conducting needs analyses, delivering tailored demonstrations, completing ROI analyses, responding to RFPs and RFIs, addressing technical and accounting questions, and supporting partner and client engagements. Builds trusted relationships, helps advance opportunities and license revenue, documents sales activities in Salesforce, and facilitates handoff to implementation teams.

Leads and develops a team of Solution Advisors supporting sales cycles for BlackLine’s financial close and accounting automation products. Conducts client discovery, delivers tailored demonstrations, presentations, workshops, and proof-of-concepts, and provides technical guidance throughout sales engagements. Partners with sales and professional services on account planning, onboarding, and adoption while contributing to enablement programs and representing BlackLine at industry events.

Leads BlackLine’s creative direction and visual identity across campaigns, web, social, video, and events. Translates complex enterprise software concepts into compelling visual stories, directs flagship campaigns and live-event experiences, and partners with marketing and executive teams. Builds and develops an in-house design, video, and motion team; manages budgets, agencies, vendors, workflows, and creative standards. Also advances AI-augmented creative tools and operational practices.

Support day-to-day management of BlackLine's social channels, podcast, and YouTube: schedule and publish content, engage community, track analytics, produce and repurpose podcast/video assets, coordinate production and guests, maintain content calendars, and liaise with cross-functional teams to align social activity with marketing initiatives.

Lead product marketing for BlackLine's SAP Solution Extension business: develop positioning and messaging, drive go-to-market strategy and launches, enable sales with content and training, partner cross-functionally (Product, Sales, Customer Success, Alliances), engage customers and partners, shape market perception and analyst relations, and act as the GM for your domain to accelerate adoption and revenue.
