The role involves enhancing application security for Radar, managing security for over 1 billion API calls daily, and collaborating with customers.

Build and operate Radar's infrastructure and developer platform to support 1B API calls/day. Work on backend, SDKs, and data systems using TypeScript, Rust, Python, and Scala. Improve observability, automation, CI/CD, IAM, feature flags, and security; enable self-serve developer workflows; collaborate with SRE, data, QA, and customers; participate in on-call rotation.

Work with engineering and design to ship backend systems, web/mobile SDKs, APIs, map rendering, UI components, and developer tools. Use data and AI to identify and close gaps in coverage, accuracy, cost, and latency. Write specs, run sprints, QA, and drive customer outcomes.
